Best of 2017

2017: I’ve caught just under 50 flights this year with weddings all over the UK and abroad. From a boat ride to the Isle of Harris, to the Fjords in Norway, the Gondolas in Venice, to the lakes in Austria and the mountains in Alaska. I’ve shot weddings in tipis, marquees, castles, barns and back gardens, a prestiges chapel in Cambridge, Lambeth Palace and the historic Roman Baths. There has been days of wind, rain, sunshine and snow; I've seen it all.

This was my first year as a full time wedding photographer and what a year it has been. I have loved every wedding; the fun and adventurous, the traditional and the unique, with all the moments of laughter and tears in between. Most importantly I have loved seeing the heart behind the couples and their vows to one another. To every couple, thank you, you have made this year what it is and it has been a privilege to be part of your day.

Thanks to everybody for your likes, comments and encouraging words (it makes me feel good about myself!) and to my family and friends - thanks for believing in me! And finally thanks to Lloyd Moore, Oscar Davies , Ross Dickie, Melody Joy, Scott Arthur, Keziah Davies, Toby Mitchell and Frazer Henderson for being awesome and helping me out on some cool weddings this year.

I cant wait for 2018 and I'm excited for what is in store. I’ve got some great weddings booked both here in the UK and abroad. You can see my travel schedule for next year here. Below is my attempt at narrow down some of my favourite photos from the year.

Big Love
